Women-only Walking Football is up and "running"

image7

At Five Rivers, 5pm to 6pm on Thursdays

The women-only session is flourishing, but we are always keen to welcome new players - of any age and skill level.

Playing non-contact football, the emphasis is on having fun.

Even if you have never played before, we are sure you will enjoy the sessions, where we will introduce you to the rules, run a warm-up, practice basic skills, then pick sides for some games.

Come and join in the fun

Call Chris on 07484-190759 or email chrisandpam2@btinternet.com

All you need are trainers and comfortable clothes to play in - and a drink to keep you hydrated.

You could also bring a friend, of course!

We agree with their analysis

and have lots of personal stories which back it up.

We are not quite famous......

..but this video, broadcast on That's Salisbury TV

in September 2017, explains our approach

and suggests why it would be great

to join us as we expand our group

..and Greg Potts, the author of this article,

used us as a basis for airing his thoughts on

the dangers of competition damaging

the fun atmosphere prevalent in our sessions
